Carlos Johnson Sr. has been defending clients throughout Cleveland and Northeast Ohio since 2002. A former prosecutor with extensive trial experience, he has represented individuals facing charges ranging from traffic violations and OVI/DUI offenses to serious felony and homicide cases. During his career, he has handled thousands of criminal defense matters and has earned a reputation for strategic defense, courtroom advocacy, and personalized client representation.
Mr. Johnson earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University before obtaining his law degree from Cleveland State University College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Ohio state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the Western District of New York. In addition to representing clients throughout Northeast Ohio, he serves as a Court TV guest legal commentator and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cuyahoga Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Carlos Johnson Jr. is an Associate Attorney at The Law Office of Carlos Johnson, representing clients throughout Northeast Ohio in criminal defense matters ranging from misdemeanor offenses and OVI/DUI charges to serious felony cases. He serves clients in Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, and Summit counties at both the municipal and Common Pleas court levels.

Mr. Johnson earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University and his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. During law school, he spent three years clerking with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, gaining valuable insight into the criminal justice system and prosecution strategies. Since entering private practice, he has represented clients in thousands of criminal matters and has achieved numerous dismissals and favorable outcomes in both misdemeanor and felony cases.
